4.4 | Measurement of serum HPA axis‐associated
hormones
Blood was collected from 20 mice in each group by retro‐orbital bleeding. For serum preparation, the blood samples were left undisturbed at room temperature for 30 min, and then subject to centrifugation at 1000g for 15 min at 4°C. The supernatants were transferred into new tubes and stored at ?80°C until analysis. Serum levels of CRH, ACTH, and CORT were measured by ELISA according to manufacturer's manual (H‐20509, H‐20423, H‐20381, respectively; Shanghai Hengyuan Biotechnology Inc.).
